The Gospel of Luke Bible Study

We are happy to announce a Thursday morning Bible Study—The Gospel of Luke.

We will meet every Thursday, beginning September 15, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Lounge. The study is open to all and will be led by Ellen Johnson.

Luke’s Gospel is known for stories of Jesus' birth, but we will also talk about his entire ministry and teaching.  The Gospel contains so many wonderful parables that are such a blessing for understanding our ministry in the world  today.   The only text we will use is the Bible.

The study is appropriate for those new to the Bible as well as for those who have studied before.  Numerous commentaries have been used in preparation.

The Bible is not only a means of grace, it is God’s invitation to us.  He says, “I love you personally, deeply and expansively.  I invite you to know me better and to come closer to me.  Please don’t say “No” to His invitation! Join us and we pray you will not be the same again!
